Layton graduated from Texas Tech Universtity in 2004 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working in the engineering field for a few years, he discovered something was missing. Designing where nuts, bolts, pipes and girders would go is not as much fun as working with customers to design attractive and effective registration systems. He left engineering and joined AMi in the summer of 2008.

With his background in engingeering, Layton brings a technical mind and problem solving ability to the meeting industry. He has been instrumental in our success in bringing inexpensive new technologies into the registration market, opening new opportunities for our customers who need something the mainstream software companies can't provide.
